8 days until race day

training is over…..its just putting in a bit of time on the feet to keep muscle memory.   easy runs, nothing hard.  Its difficult to even get warmed up in a 10 km….but today i did a few hills, some fast some slow, some on pavement some on trails with poles……………….easy.  knee seemed fine.  still icing as a precaution…………i ll hit the gym hard now as well.  swimming today and as always core work.  Tomorrow i ll hammer the core for an hour and thats the last strenuous activity until race day.
